AIDA Greater Asia currently has an exciting opportunity in our Singapore regional office for an ambitious IT Engineer looking to join a world leader in Press Industry.

IT Engineer

Responsible for planning and managing all IT operations in AGA group companies for network infrastructure, server systems and internal application, PC hardware and software, and other value added IT services.


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication)/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.


  • Candidate will require at least 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience in virtualization, VoIP & VLAN is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Server, MS Office, Active Directory and Networking is a must.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge in developing LAN/ WAN network infrastructure.
  • Possess a good problem-solving skill and able to work independently.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Process excellent communication skills to be able to interface with internal and external contacts.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel overseas when required. 

Job Functions

  • Perform installation, configuration, removal, upgrading on office software, IT equipment and asset disposal.
  • Resolve all IT infrastructure problems (Servers, Switch, CCTV, PABX & Firewall) and assist on user’s hardware and software issues.
  • Close monitoring of the server and network to identify any performance issues to reduce downtime.
  • Ensure server backup completed successfully and antivirus pattern is up-to-date.
  • Perform routine check on firewall, server, AD, RDS, VoIP, Hyper-V, Wi-Fi controller and etc…
  • Conduct POC on yearly project to provide proposal and documentation.
  • Manage IT procurement, vendor management and asset management.
  • Maintain & manage hardware inventory of IT equipment and asset.
  • Maintain & manage software inventory and ensure software licensing compliance.
  • Provide user support and guidance through consulting, training and publication of documentation.
  • Understanding and follow the IT Policy and Guidance to ensure the compliance during provision of services.
